January Temperature Blanket Update
The Temperature Blanket has finally been caught up to date! Here's January:
The weather has been all over the place so far this year, which is SO Kansas.
But when it reached SIXTY degrees for two days...
and then fell back to the THIRTIES in 48 hours, enough was enough. Don't be such a tease, Kansas.
Give me my spring and my green yarn, without throwing snow back in my face.

One little thing I forgot share during the intro. of this project:
I started with 300 chains, which was about the length of my arm span.
So maybe a little over 5 feet wide?
I was just trying to get a length I would be happy with when I'm able to curl up with it.
Coming in at 7.5 inches thick for the month of January. this blanket will be a tad over 7 feet in length. I'm good with that. There's nothing worse than a short blanket that your toes peek out from.
Just ask my Poppa Bear, who's every bit of 6'4". Seriously, ask him.
But only if you want a good laugh. It will get him fired up.
Each row takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes.
Twenty minutes when I've got no distractions and a quiet room.
Thirty minutes when I'm watching Netflix.
Netflix is my jam while crafting.
Forget Netflix and Chill... which makes no sense, by the way.
The first part of January I was watch Making the Murderer.
And if you haven't heard already... OMG. #freeStevenAvery
Lately I've been watching Scandal. Why did I wait so long?!
Political characters does not always equal boring and over your head, after all.
In fact, it's gold.
G and I have also been watching Prison Break.
Now, that will have you binge watching. SO good.
