February Temperature Blanket Update

How is it March already?!

Another month down means that I'm already a sixth of the way through the temperature blanket!

The highlight of the blanket last month was by far being able to do several days of crocheting while staying at the Whatever Craft House. Send me back!

I'm also still watching away on Scandal.

Just figured out today that the current season playing is Season 5, and I've just started Season 4. I'm going to be needing new Netflix recommendations soon, friends!

Here in Kansas, like in most other places, February was much warmer than normal.

So much warmer that I got to add my first rows of GREEN to the blanket!

(If you aren't already aware, green is obnoxiously my favorite color.)

See, I even made a celebration post on Instagram about it, haha.

(All yarn is the Big Twist Premium Yarn from Joann's.)

I'm still using the chart I made at the beginning of this journey.

It has a little wear and tear in it already because I got too excited the first day I was using the green, hurried, and accidently put my finger through the sheet.

So, it will be fun to see what kind of condition this chart is in come December 31st!

Just a close up of the colors. Eventually it will turn into darker greens, and I can't help but hope that this month will let me do just that.

Right now the blanket is 13.5 inches in length.

So the new projected length is 6.75 feet.

Seeing as my guess last time was 7.3 feet, my stitch must have gotten tighter... uh oh!

But we will see how it relaxes as I go.
